how difficult to replace starter? 700

It's really not that difficult, but if it's your first time you've got to be patient. It's just two 19mm bolts that you have to remove. The bottom one is cake and is accessible when the car is on stands. The top bolt takes a bit more cussing. I've been able to do it without the use of any fancy tools. Just push everything out of your way. To break the bolt loose I used a regular 19mm wrench coupled with a 17mm wrench for extra length and torque. Once it's loose it requires many small turns. Don't give up... it'll come out.

I broke my teeth on this job when I didn't have to. I replaced the starter, but nothing happened. Turns out the big blue battery wire was severed beneath the power steering pump. So, I had to take the new starter off and put the old one back. You can do it.
