I'm getting slow loading on this site

This site is loading verrrry slowly for me. When I click on a thread, I have to wait quite awhile for it to load. It is hard to participate in the forum. Are others having similar problems? I have no trouble with other forums and sites which I use. Jarrod, what do you think?

    I sent a message to Jarrod a couple days mentioning this problem
    and here's what I got back yesterday:

    "I'm working on it. There were a few processign going that did this over
    the weekend. I killed them off. I'll monitor it now and then.

    The search server is part of the plan to improve this. However, there are
    things I can do now to improve it and I'm working on those.

    I did send a small contribution and I think it would improve Jarrod's
    motivation a LOT if more of us showed some appreciation. This is a
    tremendous service to the community.

    I noticed it too, but since I am one of those that uses the site but has not kicked in a contribution "yet", I wouldn't have the brass to say anything!

    Same here. But I just thought it was the typical problems with our Direcway ( aka Direc-pray or Re-Boot Way) sat internet service.
