I 'moded' my alt to fit. To wit, ground material off the back side so that the pulleys lined up and oversized the bolt hole so that the bolt would fit. You can't trade the core, but these alts should be rebuilt at home anyway seeing as the rebuild kit costs what ? $12.00?
