Agree with Mbliss - start with fuses. If you get your eyeball down close there, you may see a grey/white powdery deposit on the copper fuse holder tabs right where they contact the fuse ends. This corrosion will eventually give intermittent continuity. Turning the fuses in their holders is the temporary fix; removing fuses and wire brushing the copper tabs, and replacing fuses with new ones is the long-term way. Disconnect the battery first!
