Brake bleeder 120-130 1967

Back in the last century, my brother and his business partner bought a brake bleeder from Snap-on along with an expensive add on adapter set.

The set included all kinds of specialized adapters to fit specific vehicles, most of which they rarely worked on and also included several styles of universal adapters. There was even an adapter that had several different sized external threads, but NONE of them worked on any of the old Volvos, not even 240/260s. And to this day the entire collection sits in a box and are almost never used.

For the single circuit Volvo 122/1800 brake masters, we had to have an adapter custom made by our machinist which required a special threading die to make it and I'm pretty sure he still has the die.

And for all of the plastic Volvo reservoirs, we had to buy an adapter from Assenmacher to work on the dual circuit brake masters.

FYI, the pressurized brake bleeder from Snap-on which we named "R2-DOT4", has worked the entire time and is still in service.
