1997 V90, rear shocks??? 900

"There's finally an aftermarket alternative for our rear shocks! Monroe Sensa-Trac part #5979 is the new (and as far as I can tell, the only) aftermarket alternative for V90 and part #5978 is for S90 sedans."

I called Monroe after having heard of the 5979, it is no longer available and there is no compatible model. I was told they make nothing for the Volvo V90, except front struts. I have seen them on eBay. I guess that is next.
