Changed timing belt, now engine sputters, stalls and smokes: blown valves/pistons? 200 1987

It sounds like when you originally set it to TDC you weren't on the compression stroke. Like others, start over. You didn't damage anything moving the crank. Hell doing 80mph and broken timing belt. Pretty sure everything was still moving around and no damage.
