I felt like the press took eight years off during the last administration. They either thought Obama was the messiah, or were afraid to criticize him. On November 16 2016, they awoke with a vengeance, and felt they had to protect the stupid American public from this re-incarnation of Adolf Hitler. They were wrong in both cases. He has good points and bad points just like the man he preceded, and the man who will follow him. It is apparent that most people are unable to be objective about politicians. ( Except perhaps those who dont vote )
As for the consequences of acquiescence, I really dont know what a person can do. I try to educate myself, but it seems to just further separate me from most people, and further degrades my opinion of the human race.
