Thanks Kitty, I had found those, and I did try his email, but that account is no longer good. I have emails of his from the past, in a saved mailbox folder, but I believe it is the same.

Sadly, I suspect Sil has passed on, and we can only hope some of his closer community in Maine who also spent here will give us an update. His presence will be missed. It is missed.

Sadly, I have lost track of Sil.

For various reasons, I have not been able to keep up with correspondence very well.

I so wanted to do some traveling in my sudden retirement. mebbe even to Maine. I dream of taking that sweet little boat of Bob's out on the water and paddle around the bay. Check out his Eastport firewood production operation and operate the one and only, Volvo B9 generator set! I miss our wideranging conversation. Sil always had some thought provoking topics for me! I pray that Rosita has plenty of firewood and is doing well. Even more That is still busy as a beaver storing away Firewood for cold coastal maine winters!!

I get those two mixed up all the time.

Facebook I detest more than twitter. It's too controling and people only tell half a story with it. Remember when Google got caught experimenting on people where they send only bad news to some people and good to others? Feels like that.

I really hate that my 2G phone became obsolete recently, now my old 2006 is useless. I threatened to switch carriers so they sent me a cheap alcatel with a bunch of crap apps I don't want.

I too have wondered about SIL. I passed through Maine last October and sent an email but had no reply. It is deathly quiet here isn't it. Sad after 15 years (for me). Regards.

Did you send an email to him via the address that Kitty Volvo posted? Or at that site? I know that is no longer any good. I think one or two other forum participants lived fairly close to him, and might have some news. But I fear he has passe on....
