Upper left rotor and cap just came off my V940. The lower left rotor is for comparison purposes. |

NOTE |
The rebuilt booster I was sold has virtually no clear area of pushrod sealing surface between the spline and seal. That means you want to be very careful to not scar this area while making adjustments to the rod length. One quick and dirty solution would be to pull the pushrod further out of the booster and grab it with vice grips on an area not against the seal during operation. However, you will still be scraping a sharp gouge in the shaft across the seal when you push the rod back into its proper operating position. |

NOTE |
Vac Booster pushrod seal on old unit I took off of car has a clear area of polished surface between the spline and where the seal seats against the shaft. That means you can probably get by scaring the polished surface with vice grip pliers while you are making an adjustment to the pushrod length. |
