Dear Volvo friends.

As many of you already know, our very dear friend Randy Ellin lost his father Isidore “Izzy” Ellin under very sad circumstances on Nov 3.
A few of Randy’s friends in the club had the privilege of meeting Izzy. Izzy Ellin was a very remarkable man that every day of his life made a difference for everyone around him. He was a very loved landlord that would selflessly help his tenants and other people on the lower rungs of the ladder in society and he well respected in his community for his support of poor and homeless people.

After consulting with Randy and a few members in the club we will make our upcoming rally a charity event in memory of Izzy Ellin. The proceeds will go to a homeless shelter in the Danbury/Middlebury area and we are currently looking for a good organization.

We will have a raffle at the restaurant with items we have solicited from the Volvo community.
If you have some nice Volvo Item you like to donate to the raffle please bring it!
We will also accept donations of non-perishable food and clean winter clothing like ski jackets and warm winter shoes.
