I may have a later model ECC module - help those with '99 and newer S70 S70 1998

I have the same model year car as yours except mine is a T5. I notice no difference in fan speed no matter how fast, slow or stopped I am. I would take it back to the dealer again (before your extended warranty is up) and raise some pleasant cain. I have heard of similar issues with some 850 fans. Could they have replaced the guts with one from an 850?? Our cars are similar enough, it's probably possible.
