2003 V70r awd steering pulling? V70-XC70 2003

I have just purchased a 2003 v70r awd with 5k miles on the clock. It seem at times to pull to the right into the centre of the road (UK).Although it is not bad it just felt that i was driving with some pressure on the steering wheel to keep it centred on the road. Now i seem aware of it i am wondering if it is a characteristic or a manufacturing problem? It has not had any accidents but i feel that it should not be doing this.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
