Condition
-engine speed (RPM) 1,500–2,500 rpm
-throttle opening 7–30° (however no large changes with the accelerator pedal (AP))
-speed 50-110 km/h
-engine coolant temperature (ECT) between 80-110°C.
The desired value for mass air data is drawn from a table. It is applied with the actual atmospheric pressure and inlet intake air temperature (IAT). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-130A is stored if the control module registers that the difference compared to the actual mass air is too great for approximately 5 seconds.
Substitute value
A calculated value from the pressure sensor for the intake manifold and engine speed (RPM) is used.

Faulty signal
-Faulty mass air flow (MAF) sensor.
-Contact resistance in the connectors.
-Defective fresh air intake hose.
