How do you clean the engine? S70 1998

Spray bottle full of simple green and a garden hose. I simple green them, let it soak, do it again and then blast it all off with the hose. This works very well. Just makes sure that you do not blast a bunch of water into critical areas like the wire harness, alternator, control unit box, and try not to fill up the spark plug wells under the top engine cover. Just use a little moderation and an air nozzle if you have one when you are done and the results will be well worth it.
