Cuts out 850 1994

About once a month I'll be driving along fine and then, the car will die.
Everything goes dead , none of the electrical will work at all.
This will last for about 10 mins. then the car will start up and run great for another month or 2.
Seems to happen when you are turning the car.
I checked the battery when this happens and it reads 12 V .

Any suggestions? Thanks .
