CMP Sensor and Circuit 850 1993

OOPS....

In the Chilton section that describes this testing, the first thing they say is disconnect the negative battery terminal. the don't sy to reconnect it to test the leads. When I reconnected the battery and tested, Terminal 3 came up with 11V which is slighly less that the 12.7 in the battery. Is that significant?

Terminal 2 is 5V and terminal 1 now has continuity.

Does this sound like its the CMP or the circuit (the 11V bit)?

Thanks again for any help,
Bryan
