Thanks for the replies KlausC and Chris. I don't think my local mechanic has a smoke machine. Would this be something the Volvo dealer would have? I live in a emmission testing area, so will have to address the issue. I erased the code yesterday and so far it hasn't reappeared. That is a Volvo code. Thanks Bille
