early downshift when coming to a stop, starts in wrong gear or clunks in from 'neutral' 850

Had a similar symtom on my 850r auto. Would come to a stop, then go to accelerate and it would act like it was in "N" then it would bang into drive.

The atf level seemed fine, but i added a bit more and the problem went away.
