R-134a follow-up question -- S70 1998

I just did a re-charge with a 14-oz can and now the compressor is kicking in and out every 3 to 4 seconds. It wasn't even kicking in at all before, so this is a good sign! Question: Do I need to add more refrigerant?

P.S. Two years ago our car was found to have a leaking evap. I am hoping a re-charge would do for another year or so before the dreaded 'dashboard removal' repair.
