Well, it is fixed. It must have been a loose connection, or the power stage, or a combination. We (by we I mean my husband)replaced the power stage (we got a deal because the dealer sold us the wrong one, and we had to drive all the way back so was about $75). Power stage alone didn't fix it, but after my husband tested and tested and put everything back together for the second time, it worked fine. Thanks!
