Mark ! Stiff Steering ... on v40 .. any suggestions welcome !!? S40-V40 2002

Mark .. You seem to have been there and done that with the previously mentioned 850.... wonder if you might be able of suggest anything to help !

V40 T4 2002.

Since I've had this car, it has ALWAYS been heavier to turn to the left, and springs back much quicker to centre after each left - hand turn. The dealers all say its a characteristic of the car. Yet all the other v40s Ive driven seem equally balanced, ( as per every car that Ive known..) This has been going on for a year now. ... aargh!

As far as any garage can make out, its never been in an accident or 'jigged' All components appear to be original - no evidence of pulling or reshaping below.

Things checked so far:
Tyre pressures.
Wheel balancing.
Swapping wheels.
4-wheel alignment (5 times)

Things replaced with new so far:
Complete steering rack.
L+R lower suspenion arms
L+R shock absorbers
L+R roll bar link roads ( rhs found faulty )

Latest suggestion:
Could a worn/compressed/ faulty suspension-strut mounting bearing affect the steering on one side only..? Hmmm..

ANYONE ANY IDEAS AT ALL would be greatly appreciated??
Cheers.
