Hi guys (and gals). First post here. By looking at my dipstick, my motor is mixing. At first I thought it was my headgasket but on looking at the forums and talking to a volvo specialist, luckily that might not be the case. Before I continue, I was bewildered at the oil pooling on top of the motor, but now I know its the oil filler cap gasket. Back to the subject
-My coolant in the bottle is clear.
-Am NOT losing coolant.
-Its NOT overheating.
-No lose of power.
-Not smoking from the muffler.
All this leads me too think, its the condensation issues I have read about. We have had one of the coldest winters in Texas. When my wife gets home, I will do an engine flush, and replace the oil cap gasket, but I would definately appreciate your input.
One more thing. Whats this flametrap that I hear accumulated sludge. I saw directions on swedespeed but it was for non-turbo models and mines the 850 GLT. Thanks for your response in advance.
