What hapenned? 850 1997

Rest assured Victor is completely legit and performing a HUGE service for Volvo owners. His website is completely self-explanatory with instructions for removal, shipping, paying, and re-install. His responses over email were very prompt. Using his instructions, I took my unit out in less than an hour, shipped it to him, he confirmed it was repairable, and had it back to me in less than a week (during the Thanksgiving holiday no less). Speedo (and obviously ABS/TRACS) were in-op while module was out, but that other than that car was completely drivable, brakes worked fine since only the ABS function was affected not the brake system itself. I have a manual tranny, so based on the gear & RPMs (and surrounding traffic) I was able to guess my speed within 5-10 mph. Re-install was a snap and it's performed perfectly since then. Saved over $400. Do a search on this topic and you will see a lot of members on this site that will testify the same way. Link to his website is below. Lots of good info:
