as soon as I wake up in tomorrow, I'll test the battery with a tester I have.
hopefully, the car will decide to start. I'm good at repairing vehicles, but working on electronics isn't my thing. I may end up taking it to an independent shop.

actually, the only reason why the temp gauge stood at 'c' is because of a separate problem (thermostat needs replaced).

(sorry about the typos in the other posts in this thread)
