Who has used a ODB code reader to reset service light?? S70 1998

I would like to see if anyone out there has used an ODB code reader to reset the service light. I have been online looking at which one to buy. There is a model called the Creader sold by Harbor Freight tools that only costs $39. My question is with this one work? I only need it because I want to do my own oil changes and want to reset the service light myself. There are also models available at Pep Boys for $99 that looks like it will do the job also. I am looking for any feed back I can get on this. You can email me at
