I know others out there won't put anything in their car that doesn't say "Volvo" on it, and thats fine if they're willing to spend the extra cash, no offense to those people. If it helps you sleep better at night then so be it. But I can't justify spending what Volvo wants for the same product in many cases, including coolant (some aftermarket mechanical parts are admittedly inferior to Volvo's). Just my opinion, and my experience, but I've used Prestone in everything I've ever owned and never had any unusual cooling system corrosion or problems. If you flush regularly and follow the mixture proportions that the formulator recommends you'll be fine with high quality off the shelf stuff.
