No, you need the specialized reset tool with proprietary software in it. The best one for the money is this Draper one from the UK, it'll cost you about $60 USD . http://www.justoffbase-tools.co.uk/index.php?tools=9.191 . Look at the 69007 tool. You could get one from IPD for about $180 but it's the same thing. I have the OBD2 software and it won't reset the Volvo Service light. Good luck.
