Short in 'Check Engine Light' V70-XC70

1 year ago I had a check engine light come on so I brought it to the Volvo dealer. Result..sir you need a new catalytic converter asap. Cost, $1,400 dollars. Volvo dealers are in the business of selling parts, not keeping your car going.

I took the car to my indy guy, he reset the light and it has been fine for 50,000 miles.

Go figure.
