Struts and Shocks again and again V70-XC70

I've researched this forum everywhere, as well as the web, and have to say, it is difficult to get an impression of how one would stiffin up the car..."just a little". I've bought 4 sets on new shocks for 850s, S70's and a V70. The Bilstein HD are harsh on the 850/S70 through 2000. But they are great on the 2001 V70 T5. No harshness..different part number...different suspension on the V70...not sure when that started..may have been 2000 or 2001. The Boge were a nice improvement for the worn shocks on a 1997 base 850.

One warehouse told me the Bilstein Touring Class is a little stiffer than Boge OE. But only slightly. Another warehouse stocks Boge and Bilsteins, but thinks its customers are happier with Boge. And that warehouse told me Boge and Sachs are indentical in quality....just made in different factories/countries.

As far as Monroe Sensi tracs, there was one satified customer here, and several very negative posts...not based upon experience, but based upon that fact that they were just so cheap, they had to be crap.

With that background, and my definite recommendation of Bilstein HDs for the new Volvo's (2000 or after), does anybody have personal experience with the Bilstein Touring Class shocks, or the Monroe Sensi tracs? This set will be for a 1999 V70 T5, 5 speed. This is the same part number application as 1994 through 1997 850s and 1998 to 2000 S70 and the wagons until at least 1999.
