'Anti-Skid Service Required' message S60 2002

I had the message "Anti-Skid Service Required" appear on the display of my 2002 S60 T5 at about 80K miles. Does anyone know if this represents a true system failure, or is it informing me of some recommended scheduled service. The DSTC has been disabled since the message appeared. Any info you have would be appreciated.
