seat heaters

has anyone fixed a broken seat heater. the driver's side heater stopped working last this spring and when i looked at the wiring. i found an open circuit with one set and the other was a closed circuit. i assume something in the heating element has gone kahput (sp)... also where would i find a replacement part. thanks Ken
