Do I have to bleed brakes if replacing pads only? S70

Its a long story but I need to replace just my fairly new, cheap, front disk pads.
on a '98 , S70, 2.5l, FWD, auto, non turbo machine.
Will I be able to replace the pads without having to bleed the air out?
Not going to touch the calipers.
