Are you smelling antifreeze? It has a sweet smell. Check under the center console carpet for moisture in case you have a heater core or connection leak. The dealer installed the "Afterblow" function on my 98 for A/C smell. All the new ones have it. It runs the A/C fan on high (for a few minutes) about 50 minutes after you shut off the car after using the A/C to dry out the moisture in the system
