Need help with a challenging drivability problem V70-XC70 1999

Klaus,
My sentiments exactly. Since my post I extended my fuel pressure guage so I can read it through the windshield while out on the road. The pressure does vary slightly, but hovers between 50-55PSI. You can put a lot of fuel into the engine at that pressure. The fuel filter is fresh, one of the first things I looked at. I'm taking a chance, but I invested $190 in a new MAF sensor. The car seems way lean, and with what appears to be adequate fuel pressure, I'm thinking the ECM could be getting a low air flow reading from the MAF. It's possible that the injectors could be clogged, but I sort of doubt it.
Your advice to find a good indy is well taken, but any good shop seems hard to find these days.

We'll see...

Mark
