Buying an S80 or maybe not?

Well, I'll pipe in. No one's saying much because the first few years of S80s, especially '99, '00 are known for having many costly problems. I'd advise doing some research on them before buying. Try searches here and Google including consumer reports.
We see many used S80s now ('99, '00) that are already on their 3rd owners because the first two had enough with the cars problems. Buying one w/o any warranty is not a good idea.

Newer Volvos are NOT anything like the cars that Volvo once made. Unfortunately, those days are gone forever. Me, I'll hopefully always be able to find good used RWD turbo cars for a while yet and if not, I'll buy another brand of car.
