PNP switch/A-1 socket question V70-XC70 1999

I just purchased 99 V70XC with 111K on the clock last night. On my 70 mile drive home from the used car lot I bought it from, up arrow began flashing and check engine light came and car entered "limp home". After reading posts on this board, this apparently indicates PNP switch, but I need to check the code for a 313. I plan on going to AutoZone to have the codes checked, but I want to have as much info as possible before proceeding. Here is my question:

Where is the A-1 diagnositc socket?
