THE solution to that........................'knock sensor' code? 850 1994

I needed an extra standard engine computer for my 1994 850T to compare with the upgraded computer from IPD. Go to car-part.com - enter in your year, make, model. You will find dozens to choose from! Be aware that the ECU #s vary for the R versus the Turbo.

For a 1994/95 850T(not R!) the Bosch ECU serial # should be 0-261-203-071 (072)
For a 1996/97 850T(not R!) the serial number should be 0-261-203-072

Used/wreckyard prices ranged from $65 to $300 for an engine computer. I bought one for $100, and it works well.

I selected one from General Auto Parts 800-556-7316 because they tested the computer to make sure it was running.
