Hi. I read the website, and it seems to be that just buying the ECU reprogramming device may not give the improvements shown in that table (e.g., a ~50 hp gain for the 2.9 liter XC90).
The table doesn't clarify "what" is required for those hp gains -- the website offers an upgrade air intake, as well as a 3" exhaust system. I suspect that to get the full gains advertised in that table, you also have to purchase these two additional systems, both of which will become far more obvious to your local Volvo dealer (Magnusen-Moss Act aside) that just that sureptitious chip ugrade.
