My father and I helped my oldest bother replace the rack on his '94 850. It did take most of the day and really had it's moments, but we figured it out and got it done. It was really nothing too special, but you'll want to have on hand a good assortment of tools and be prepared to improvise to reach a couple tight spots between the rack, subframe, and body. Also, make sure you can raise the car onto jack stands safely AND get a jack on the engine. We had to raise and lower the engine/subframe a couple times to manuever the old rack out.
Good luck,
Will R.
