You bought the wrong car Chad. Sell this one and get a v8 Mustang. Volvos, BMW, and MB don't make dragsters. They make cars that can go around corners and accelerate at speed. Holding the brake and the gas pedal down will only fry your tranny. Winding the car out in first gear will blow your valves. Another premature death of an 850.
