Fun? Buy the Volvo.

Stress free? Buy the Accord.

The choice is yours. If you can do a fair amount of the work yourself, the Volvo will not be particularly expensive to own.

Have a competent mechanic go over whichever car you choose with a "fine-toothed comb" before you buy.
