It's called Recall 76. Any volvo dealer who wants to can run your vin, all they need is a body type 854 (four doors) or 855 (wagon) and the last 6 of the VIN and they can run the vin number on the volvo warranty inquiry application, tells you the color code of the car, the interior code of the car, the original radio code, key code, options, selling dealer and inservice date (retail date), plus all factory options and all open recalls and what was replaced under warranty.
