Replacing fuel pump - do it yourself?? 850

I did mine last fall. Pretty simple operation, the fuel fittings are very easy to take apart, getting the motor 'cartridge' out of the fuel sender/pump assembly takes a little patience, and I don't remember any soldering. I did note the original pump was german bosch, the replacement was hungarian bosch. I hope it still lasts 170K miles. I would recommend it to anyone who is mildly mechanically inclined.

Good luck with it!
