My 1994 850 has 133,000 miles and has been regularly serviced by a volvo indy and occational a dealer. Took it to a dealer for an oil change (I had a coupon for a nice discount) and wanted to see what they might come up with on the fly. Of course the said complete brake job front and rear without taking the tires off and not know I had the fronts done 4,000 miles ago and the back about 15,000. But they also showed me the front seat springs where the top nut turns and isn't supposed too. I know these are old and worn out but its funny no one has every mentioned them before and I know they must have been gon for a while now. How important are these things and should anything else in that area be relaoced at the same time. I know I'm not going to have the dealer do it; they quoted $40 each for the seats and $360 for the whole job. Any thoughts.
