Man Trans grinding into reverse only 850

Found the answer. Corroded & knarled up throw-out bearing hanging up on corroded input shaft.

Everything cleaned up - new clutch ($330) installed ($570) everything is working great. Mech said bearing was hanging up & not allowing clutch to fully disengage.

Thanks to those who responded.

Car & driver now very happy together.
