Ken, I understand that you need to remove the dashboard to get to these instrument panel bulbs. The good news for me is that my evaporator was leaking and so my independent mechanic had to remove the dashboard to replace the evaporator. At that time I had him go ahead and replace all the instument panel light bulbs.
You may want to wait until your evaporator fails to replace your instrument panel bulbs. However, you may not have my good luck and have to spend the $1,000 just to replace your bulbs. Fred
