Continuing in this spirit of sarcasm ...

Permit me to offer a solution to your channel-changing dilemma: get up and walk to the TV and change the channel .... like we did in the 50s.

I am firmly convinced that the invention of the remote control was largely responsible for the fattening of America ... not to mention ADD resulting from endless channel surfing. It was bad enough that we sat on the sofa for hours on end watching mindless drivel; then some genius found a way for us not to have to even get up to change channels. Is this a great country or what???
