Rough Ride V70-XC70 1998

Just recently purchased a V70 T5 wagon (a week ago). It rides very roughly. Up until now, I've been driving a '96 850. To compare, that car had a smooth ride. In the V70 riding in the front seat isn't good, and riding in the back seat truly feels a lot like riding in the back of a school bus...no exaggeration. Still have three and a half weeks of full warranty (6 mos. on the drive train). Any helpful suggestion regarding what specifically might cause the problem. The car looks and sounds very good...handles well. VIN and service record check out well.
