I just got my 3rd engine warning light with emissions service message. I have had it in three times over the past 4 mos. Each time I bring it in I'm told that it's from the gas cap to loose and they reset the light. I noticed that all they did was pull out a fuse for a few seconds and replaced it and the messages disappeared. Over all, my car has so far been running very well. If the transmission were to start to go, what are the signs I should be looking for?
I've been told that if I haven't had any tranny problems then I may never experience 0ne. Is this true?
